How do you get marble in Terraria? ›

Marble is a natural block found in Marble Caves. It can be crafted into Smooth Marble Blocks in order to craft the Marble-themed furniture set.

The Marble Wall is a type of background wall which can be found naturally generated in Marble Caves, considered unsafe. It does not drop as an item when destroyed. It can also be generated as part of an Underground Cabin in a Marble Cave, considered safe. It is also considered a safe wall when placed by the player.

Marble forms when a pre-existing limestone rock is heated to such extreme temperatures that the minerals grow larger and fuse together. The dark, foliated bands cutting through the marble are a different kind of metamorphic rock, such as slate.

Granite is a block found underground in Granite Caves. It can be crafted into Smooth Granite Blocks at a Work Bench in order to craft the Granite-themed furniture set. In addition to being found in placed form, it can also drop from Granite Elementals and Granite Golems.

Crystal Shards can grow in liquids and in front of background walls. They do not require an actual Underground Hallow biome to grow. Any Pearlstone or Pink Ice Block in or below the cavern layer qualifies as a source block.

Pearlstone is a Hardmode block type found in The Hallow. It requires at least a Nightmare Pickaxe, Deathbringer Pickaxe, or explosives to mine. Pearlstone is the Hallow version of Stone (similar to Ebonstone in The Corruption, or Crimstone in The Crimson).

The Galaxy Pearl is a consumable item which permanently increases a player's luck by 0.03. It can only be used once per character, however, multiple copies can be obtained by throwing a Pink Pearl into Shimmer.

The Marble Biome is an underground biome. It's made out of Marble Blocks and Marble Walls. Just like it's counterpart, the Granite Biome, a world may contain multiple Marble Biomes. A nearby Marble Biome can contain underground houses made out of Marble Furniture, Chests and Walls.

Gold Chests in the Dungeon are locked, and require one Golden Key each to be opened. Regular Wooden Chests in the Dungeon will always spawn with one Golden Key, along with height-dependent common items.

The rarest item to drop is the Slime Staff, since it has a 1/10000 chance to drop from Slimes. However, there used to be an even rarer item, the Uzi, which had a 1/80000 drop chance from Angry Trappers.

Lihzahrd Bricks make up the structure of the Jungle Temple. They are the toughest block in the game, being impervious to explosives and only breakable using the Picksaw or a better pickaxe or drill.

The best way to spawn any Gem Squirrel is to make a town in the cavern layer. They tend to spawn around NPCs, especially town NPCs, but may also spawn near the Skeleton Merchant or any bound NPC.

The Loom is a crafting station used to craft Silk, as well as some items that require Silk as an ingredient. It can sometimes be found in Underground Cabins.

These shards can be obtained in both node form and item form, primarily in Anthills or other caves in the early-game. Brittle Marble Shards can be found in all Marble nodes, but sturdy and supreme nodes require an Insect Hammer and Black Ox Hammer, respectively.
