About us:
Malaybalay Badminton Youth Organization (MYBO) was formally introduced last April 3,2006. This was formed by a group of students here in Malaybalay City in the province of Bukidnon. This students came from different schools and different year levels. The schools were Bukidnon State College(BSC)both high school and college, San Isidro College(SIC)both elementary and high school, and Bukidnon National High School(BNHS). This three schools coincide the idea to form an organization wherein it the youth of Malaybalay City will be the one to lead. We do play in the Baracks of PNP with the good help of our friend Police Director Col. Archie Gamboa.
We started working on to register our organization with the help of the government official of Malaybalay City. We already have the set of officers to formally lead the said organization(I still dont have the copy yet but ill send soon).
I am the eldest on us all in our organization. So being their kuya I would like to act more for the development of this Organization. My aim goal for this organization is to develop more youth in order to compete on the higher levels of Badminton. We already join many tournaments to develop our skills in dealing different players in other parts of Bukidnon. Most of our members already had their pride on this game. Champions and placers came from our organization.
We also conduct some badminton clinics last summer for the young and adults who wants to play and know what the game Badminton is. We focus mainly on our students below 12 years old. Luckily all of our trainees were satisfied for that short couple of time in their training.
As a starter, we already handle two tournaments. This two tournaments were all sponsored by the City Government of Malaybaly. The first tournament was really a success for us, although we tackle a little difficulties. The second one was really an idea of the City but were the one who handle all the task for that tournament. Everything seems alright but we still cant avoid such delay.
My real intention on this is to expose our organization and to meet different people who can help us develop our skills and talents. I can still say that were still not got the half of the real training of Badminton. We still lack more in terms of techniques and strategies. We do want to enhance our indurance and improve all our strokes. We only depend on the TV to see those unbeleivable players who really are amazing and also have them us our inspirations. We look forward that you can help us on our goal.
Beacause we are just students, we still depend on our parents, but this is not enough to us. Badminton is really an expensive game. Still depending on sponsors who believed on our talents. Hope you could help us in any form you can offer to us.
